Will Phalen kicks off an awesome night of music on Navy Pier Terrace for High Fidelity Music Series!

Hello Everyone!  As Fall continues to descend on our fair city, we at Rooftop Sessions Chicago, in collaboration with WBEZ, Goose Island, and MeetingAV, are proud to bring you a fond flashback to Summer with the dynamic slice of contemporary Americana, Will Phalen.

Phalen, best described as a multi-dimensional artist who alternates between bold and ambient strokes, acoustic twang, and hum-along harmony, brilliantly delivered a killer set on top of the scenic Navy Pier Terrace for WBEZ’s High Fidelity music series.  As always, we here at RSC think we did the artist’s folk-rock sensibilities justice with our newly released video.

Taking its name from the obvious, Rooftop Sessions Chicago is a local production group seeking to elevate the status of local musicians in and around the Chicago area and beyond. Pulling the artist out of the mainstream and placing them squarely above the normal performance environment, we seek to engage musicians in a new and fun way, and hopefully inspire something previously untapped in the artist.
