Pat McKillen delivers intimate opening set for final WBEZ High Fidelity Summer Music Series!

Hi Everyone!  As yet another Chicago winter trudges on, all of us here at Rooftop Sessions Chicago feel eager to bring you one more warm and welcoming reminder of  this past summer’s WBEZ High Fidelity Music Series!  In partnership with MeetingAV and Goose Island Brewery, we proudly present a young local singer-songwriter by the name of Pat McKillen.

The Dave Matthews’ Band influenced artist really flourished on the scenic Navy Pier Terrace against the early evening sun.  Despite not being able to soundcheck before the show, we were blown away by McKillen’s top-notch performance from the very start and excited to have him on such a lofty stage. Taking its name from the obvious, Rooftop Sessions Chicago is a local production group seeking to elevate the status of local musicians in and around the Chicago area and beyond. Pulling the artist out of the mainstream and placing them squarely above the normal performance environment, we seek to engage musicians in a new and fun way, and hopefully inspire something previously untapped in the artist.
