The 2014 Spring/Summer season of Rooftop Sessions Chicago is underway! As always, we strive to promote talented artists by removing them from their usual performance arenas. This May was no exception as we caught up with singer-songwriter, Jared Bartman, at the beautiful Lincoln Park Conservatory. It was a busy winter for us at Rooftop Sessions Chicago. In keeping with our niche for recording and filming artists in unusual locations, we took to local Logan Square eatery John’s Pizzeria in February to showcase indie-rock ensemble, American Wolf. Comprised of strong folk and jazz influences, the five-piece American Wolf seeks to combine haunting vocals and technical melodies with an abundance of atmospheric ambiance.
