Zapruder Point performance provides perfect backdrop for gorgeous Indian summer day on Fitzgerald’s Rooftop

Hello once again, everyone!  Rooftop Sessions Chicago, this time in partnership with Fitzgerald’s in Berwyn, is proud to feature for you our latest exciting video production — the talented and versatile Zapruder Point.

Originally from Cleveland, Dan Phillips has been writing and recording as Zapruder Point in Chicago for more than a decade.  Singing simple yet heartfelt songs, Zapruder Point seems to capture the everyday essence of Midwestern life.  Currently, Phillips is working on a solo folk album and your next chance to catch him live in Chicago is on April 12 at the Hideout.

Taking its name from the obvious, Rooftop Sessions Chicago is a local production group seeking to elevate the status of local musicians in and around the Chicago area and beyond. Pulling the artist out of the mainstream and placing them squarely above the normal performance environment, we seek to engage musicians in a new and fun way, and hopefully inspire something previously untapped in the artist.
